Leonia didn't particularly care for dogs, since she was never around them that much. However, her brother did introduce her to a friendly dingo in Australia, but she didn't stick around there for long.
"I'm fine", she said quietly. The girl stared at the dogs and frowned. She didn't move an inch from where she came in and she didn't really plan on moving anytime soon.

Ludwig quietly regarded the girl in his home. Now that she was somewhere unfamiliar, she seemed almost...shy. Speaking in German, he told the dogs to go lay down. They seemed almost upset that they weren't getting any attention, but laid down in front of the couch anyway. He looked back at Leonia.
"You can sit down if you want. It will take me a bit to finish cooking. Anything you want in particular?" He hoped the girl didn't have peculiar preferences, he didn't have a wide variety in his kitchen.

The girl awkwardly walked over and sat down on the couch, on the opposite side of where the dogs were laying. Leonia was just flat out jealous now. She didn't even have a couch. Then again, it wasn't like one would fit in her little room.
"Nope." She wasn't feeling picky like she usually was. Instead, she actually wanted to leave as soon as possible. Leonia always tried to avoid awkward moments like this, but it looked like it was her own fault this time so it wasn't like she could blame anyone.

Retreating into the kitchen, Ludwig got lost in his thoughts as he started making lunch. He was still trying to figure out why the girl had followed him. Is she seriously that desperate for food?
Finishing up and getting out two plates, he brought one into the living room. "Here."

Leonia stared at the dogs and let out a sigh. It now seemed like it was a stupid idea to follow Ludwig to his home. She felt like she was intruding on him.
She took the plate and muttered, "Thank you". After Leonia took the plate, the girl didn't move another muscle. It still felt rather awkward being there.

Ludwig sat down and pet Aster a few times before focusing on his food. However, he noticed that Leonia hadn't even touched her food. Ludwig was a little confused. She had wanted the food, hadn't she? Maybe she didn't like it....
"Uhm....is it okay? Sorry if it's not something you like..." Putting his plate down, he waited for a moment before retreating into the kitchen to get drinks. While in there, he mulled over the girl's recent actions. Ludwig was slightly confused, nervous, and a little embarrassed. This girl had pushed her way into his life, and he doubted she was going to get out any time soon. Coming back with two glasses of water, he set one down in front of Leonia.

Leonia stared at the food and narrowed her eyebrows; she was trying to think of the last time she had a home-cooked meal. What is when her mother was alive? Well, not necessarily, her brother wasn't that bad at cooking. In fact, she enjoyed when he would let her help him.
The girl figured she should just put on a smile and pretend like everything was okay now. Leonia smiled slightly and said, "Thank you". As Ludwig went to get the water, she scarfed down the food as quickly as she could. To be truthful, she was a bit embarrassed of her table manners and certainly did not want Ludwig to see that. After all, her mother wasn't around to teach her manners and he brother attempted, but Leonia was much too stubborn to listen to him.
